Holly Kylén began her practice in 1986 and as a financial advisor, she tailors products to help develop sound retirement and pension plans for individuals and companies. Holly focuses on helping employers design defined contribution programs that help employees realize the necessity of retirement planning and that empower them to actively participate in their employer's plan. With individual clients, Holly takes time to evaluate and understand her client's short-term and long-term needs to create effective financial planning strategies.

Holly holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations and has completed the Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellowship. She is licensed in Life, Accident and Health Insurance and utilizes her experience to uncover her clients financial concerns and offer education and understanding. 

From Holly:

"As a financial planner I was amazed at how many individuals would come into my office, hand me their 401k enrollment booklet and ask, "What should I do?" At their company's open enrollment meeting, all they were told was to either go through the booklet or visit the web site. Often, they couldn't understand half of the information they received.

I realized that my advisors and I needed to reach out to the employers that really wanted to help their employees plan and save properly for their future retirement. That we needed to work with those businesses and their owners to develop open enrollment meetings that would educate their employees on their benefits - meetings that would explain in plain English the realities of saving for retirement. Informing these employees on the ins and outs of their 401(k) plans would help motivate them to map their path towards creating a successful retirement and they then would fully appreciate the benefits their employer was giving them."

Ryan Egan is a 2014 summa cum laude Robert E. Cook Honors College graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his B.S. in Management (Eberly College of Business Honors Program) and B.A. in Economics (Economics Honors Track). Throughout college, Ryan was intrigued by the complexity of the financial world. Ryan has interned with numerous business institutions that have afforded him experience in a variety of areas, including marketing, arts management and commercial lending. During his senior year, Ryan worked in the wealth management division of a PA regional bank where he was responsible for conducting financial analysis in the Healthcare, Energy and Consumer Staples sectors. He developed company valuations and worked with portfolio managers in determining the investment worth of select companies – a challenging task, but one that allowed Ryan to apply his economics and business studies in real time.

Upon graduation, Ryan spent two years in Nashville as a middle school math teacher with Teach for America, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to grow and strengthen the movement towards educational equity and excellence in low-income communities. Ryan’s time in Nashville proved valuable as he transitioned to a career in the financial industry when he joined Kylén Financials, Inc. in summer 2016 as the newest advisor. 

Ryan is an Investment Adviser Representative of Voya Financial Advisors, with the Series 7 and 66 registrations, as well as his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license. He is currently working towards earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.

“While in Nashville, I realized that – at my core – I am an educator, but not necessarily in a traditional classroom environment. By combining my love for economics and business with my teaching experience, I found that my true passion is to develop and teach relevant financial content that will positively impact someone’s future. Aileen has worked at Kylén Financials since 2007. Her initial role as practice manager provided a solid foundation in learning the specific processes, philosophy and importance of financial education. It provided the impetus for Aileen to further her training and education. In 2009, she obtained her license in life, health and accident, thus allowing her to assist clients in acquiring appropriate insurances, including disability and long-term care.

In 2012, Aileen was promoted to a paraplanner and serves as an insurance agent as well. In her current role, Aileen provides education and guidance on financial principles. She also enjoys working with individuals and couples in establishing budgets to support their long-term goals. Aileen is a notary public.

Prior to working at Kylén Financials, Aileen held two administrative positions for community- and nationally-recognized agencies serving victims of abuse. She recounts that she has always valued her contribution to these agencies and was attracted to this work because she could see the impact that the agencies made on people's lives. When she arrived at Kylén Financials, she was astonished that helping people get their financial house in order could have an equally significant, but different, impact.

Kim Moore worked in education for 32 years as a special education teacher and school counselor. After retiring in 2015, she joined the office of Kylén Financials in 2016. Today, her main focus is the management of document imaging for clients, administrative work and special projects. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.

Donna has been a member of the Kylén Financials, Inc. team since 2016. As the administrative lead, Donna is the central point of contact for all clients. With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Donna’s role is pivotal in Kylén’s business and service structure. Donna is the “voice of Kylén Financials, Inc.” and assists clients with everything from scheduling appointments to opening new accounts and tracking business to servicing existing client accounts. 

At Kylén Financials, Inc., there is a strong focus on financial literacy. Donna is always excited to share these values with prospective clients and truly enjoys interacting and building relationships with Kylén’s diverse clientele. 

When not serving clients, you can find Donna spending time with her grandchildren or visiting the beach.
